Use It For Your Own Work

PurifyAI is built for creators cleaning up media they own or are licensed to edit — client deliverables, portfolio pieces, and production assets.

We claim no rights over anything you process. Files are handled locally in your browser, so we never receive a copy in the first place.

Stripping provenance data to pass AI-generated media off as authentic in journalism, elections, evidence, or identity documents is prohibited.

Cancel Anytime

Subscriptions renew monthly and can be cancelled from your billing settings at any point. Access continues until the end of the paid period.

Full Terms

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PurifyAI Studio — including the web application, Chrome extension, and REST API — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced at least 30 days before taking effect.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to create an account. By registering you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to enter into this agreement.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use PurifyAI only on media you own, created, or are otherwise licensed to modify. You may not use the service to remove provenance data in order to misrepresent AI-generated media as authentic in news reporting, political communication, legal evidence, academic submissions, or identity verification. You may not use it to infringe copyright, evade platform safety systems, or process unlawful content.

4. Your Content

Media you process is handled entirely within your browser and is never transmitted to PurifyAI servers. We claim no ownership over your files or the results. You retain all rights and all responsibility for the content you process and how you subsequently use it.

5. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@purifyai.app if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts showing signs of compromise or abuse.

6. Subscriptions, Billing and Refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis through Stripe. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings, and access continues through the end of the current period. Pro-rated refunds are available within 14 days of a charge for annual plans; monthly charges are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Usage Limits

Each plan includes a stated number of file cleanings per period. Exceeding your quota pauses processing until the period resets or you upgrade. We may apply reasonable rate limits to the API to protect service stability.

8. Intellectual Property

The PurifyAI name, logo, interface, processing engines, and documentation are the property of PurifyAI Studio and are protected by copyright and trademark law. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service — not to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from it.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PurifyAI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that metadata removal will be complete for every file format or that results will meet any specific requirement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PurifyAI Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, unlawful use, or non-payment. Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PurifyAI Studio is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection law grants you rights elsewhere.
