Cookie Policy
We use the smallest set of cookies that still lets the product work. No advertising networks, no cross-site tracking, no data brokers.
The short version
- One session cookie, used only to keep you signed in.
- Local storage holds your theme choice and tool preferences — on your device, never sent to us.
- No advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on the tool pages.
- You can clear everything at any time from your browser settings without losing your account.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser so it can recognise you across page loads. Local storage is a related mechanism that keeps data on your device but is never automatically sent to a server.
2. Cookies we set
We set exactly one cookie:
- Session cookie — issued when you sign in, used to keep you authenticated. It expires when you sign out or after 30 days of inactivity. It contains a random session identifier and nothing else.
3. Local storage we use
The following are stored on your device only. They are read by the page as it renders and are never transmitted to PurifyAI servers:
- purifyai_theme — your light or dark theme preference.
- purifyai_saas_state — plan, quota and feature-flag state used to render the workspace.
- purifyai_seo_config — editable page metadata, used only by the admin portal.
4. What we do not use
We do not run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media trackers, session recording, heatmaps, fingerprinting, or cross-site analytics on the tool pages. Because media processing happens entirely in your browser, we have no reason to profile what you scrub.
5. Third parties
Payment processing is handled by Stripe on its own checkout pages, which set their own cookies under Stripe's policy. We do not embed third-party scripts on the tool or landing pages.
6. Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and local storage per site. Blocking our session cookie will sign you out and prevent sign-in, but every free tool that runs locally will continue to work without an account.
7. Changes
If we ever add a cookie, this page changes before it ships, and material changes are announced in the product.
